Tomorrow Will Be Christmas Eve

Today is December 23rd 2014, which means that tomorrow will be Christmas Eve and then that means it will be almost time for Christmas, which is always exciting because it means you get to be with the people you love. Except Christmas isn't just about being with the people you love, or Christmas carols, or food, or Santa, or decorating the tree, or opening presents, it's much more than that. Christmas is a time to remember that Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day, and it's a time to remember that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior loves us, and cares for us. I hope that tomorrow you will have a great Christmas Eve and have a great Christmas with your family and friends.

I finally have my diploma passing certificate

I now have three copies of my diploma passing certificate, to show people what I have accomplished on Saturday December 13th, 2014. I still can't believe that I did it because I've only been in this class since May 21st, of 2014. Now I'm on break for a little bit until after Christmas, so that when Christmas is over, I can figure out which class or course to take next, because I have felt that I have learned a lot with the class that I just finished and I hope I can do another class or course after Christmas.

Today I passed my online class

Today I only failed lesson fourteen once, and passed on my second try and I'm glad to have passed. Soon, I print my diploma , and put in my binder so that I can show people what I have accomplished. It feels good to know that I passed my online class today and it makes me even more happier to know that I got an email from the course director telling me that I passed, along with telling me congratulations. I probably won't start another class until after the holidays because now I'm on break.

December 12th

Yesterday I was on lesson thirteen and I failed with a 50 percent. Today I was on lesson thirteen and I failed with a 40 percent. I just took the test for lesson thirteen and passed with a 70 percent, and it was my third time taking the test for lesson thirteen. I am now on lesson fourteen which means, I'm so much closer to getting my diploma and passing this class with the fact that I kept on trying and never gave up. I'm proud to know that the people I've told are proud of me for trying and not giving up.

A little update on how I am doing on my online class

I am now on lesson thirteen, since I passed lesson twelve yesterday. I can't believe how far I've come, since I've started this class in May, of this year, and I feel that it's great that I'm half way done, but it's also exciting that I'll be able to get my diploma soon, and know that I accomplished something, and also know that I didn't give up and that I kept on trying. Being in this class has taught me a lot of things, and maybe after I'm done with this class I'll do another one, like this one. I'm happy that I'm half way done.

A little about myself and a little bit about Christmas

My name is Elizabeth Nicole Holthouse and I am twenty years old living with Hydrocephalus. I was born on September 29th 1994 in Shelby Ohio. When I was one and a half I had a shunt put in. When I was three years old I had open heart surgery. When I was ten years old I had shunt replacement surgery. I also have a learning disability and I have these things called seizures. I haven't had a seizure for awhile, but I can't drive a car because of them. I like to draw on my computer and sometimes in a sketch book. I like to read books, and books on my kindle. I like to go to piano lessons on Friday afternoons at the Willard Christian Reformed Church, which is where I go to church on Sunday mornings. I go to youth group at the Willard Church Of God on Wednesday nights and Sunday Nights. I enjoy going to youth group because I learn a lot of new things, and have fun. I love my family, friends, but most of all I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas with their families. I can't even believe that there is 17 days till Christmas now. Have a great time when Christmas comes, and I'll be writing more soon, until then goodbye for now, and have a great night, I hope each and every one of you has fun on Christmas day with your families and your friends, but I hope you remember the true meaning of Christmas, which is that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was born on Christmas Day. I also hope that you just enjoy being with family when Christmas time comes, because being with the people you love is a wonderful, wonderful thing.

What Christmas means to me

I can't believe it's almost getting close to Christmas because now it's only 18 days till Christmas but Christmas isn't just a time to be with family and friends, it's not about singing carols, hot chocolate, the food you put on the table, it's not about the gifts you get or give or receive, or who you spend it with, it's about how our Savior Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day and it's also a time to remember that He died on the cross for our sins, sure it's about most of the things I have mentioned but it's also a time to remember that Jesus Christ our savior was born on Christmas Day.

December is finally here

I can now say that December 1st is finally here, and we are now in the month, where we celebrate Christmas, but Christmas is also the time to remember that our savior was born on Christmas. Sometimes, I think about when Christmas will come, and we'll be able to spend time with our families and friends. Then right after the month of December is over, it will be January and when the month of January comes, it will be New Years, and when New Years, comes, then it will be the year of 2015 and no longer the year of 2014. It's kind of crazy to think that we only have one more month before it's January and before we have a new year instead of being in the year of 2014. I hope that everyone will have a good Christmas with their families and friends, and until I write again, I just want to say that I hope each and everyone of you have a great day and enjoy Christmas when it comes time.

Almost December 1st

I can't believe today is the last day of it being November because it seems like it's just begun, but now it's almost December 1st and it's very hard to believe, but a good thing about it being December 1st, is that it's almost Christmas time, and that means it will be a time to spend with the people we love, like our family and friends. It's also a time to remember that Jesus Christ our Savior was born. I like Christmas because of these things, but I also like it, because sometimes you can have fun and play in the snow. Or sometimes, when you don't want to play in the snow, you can have hot chocolate. Another thing you can do is sing Christmas carols, or tell stories. I don't know about you, but I love Christmas, and I am thankful for everyone in my life, including Jesus Christ my Savior who died on the cross for our sins, and I glad to say that He protects us and watches over us, each and every single day, and because he loves all of us as His children, and because he loves us, he will be with us no matter where we are, because he is an Almighty God that can do all things, and He is higher than any other, and no matter what he will protect us from any danger that comes our way, because he cares.

Lark Rise To CandleFord Television Series

All I can say is that Lark Rise to Candleford is an awesome and amazing show that you will love, you will be entertained by it , and you will want to keep watching it. It's the kind of show that let's say if you were reading a book, and you got to a really good spot, but had to do something else and you didn't want to stop reading, well this series Lark Rise to Candleford is just like that, and if you do decide to watch it, you won't regret it because it's funny, entertaining to watch, amazing, so great that I don't want to stop watching it. This series is like a book series, where if you were reading, then you wouldn't want to stop reading a great book, you wouldn't want to stop reading, where if you were watching a television series that you liked, then you wouldn't want to stop watching it because it was really good. I won't spoil anything for you, because if you do decide to watch it, you won't regret it. I can promise you that, and only because I love it, and I'm sure you will too, if you decide to watch it.

Lark Rise to Candleford television series

I can't explain the series I'm watching, but if you like drama, and romance movies, then this series is for you. It's called Lark Rise to Candleford and it is good, I'm only on season one, I started it this morning, just finished episode 5 and started episode six, I'll finish episode six tomorrow and then hopefully finish season one tomorrow so that I can watch season two, and there is only four seasons of this show. I love it so far, and I think when I finish the series, I'...ll watch it from the beginning again, because that's how much I like it, and it's very entertaining, funny, the characters are awesome, and when I looked the show up on Google it said the show is set in the 19th century and the characters all talk British, I won't spoil everything for you, but if you want to watch it, then you can watch it on Amazon for free, if you have an Amazon account and Amazon Prime account.
I can finally tell you that, if you do watch it, then you will want to keep watching it, because I finally paused episode six, because I already watched five episodes, and since I started episode six from the beginning, I wanted to keep watching it, but I wanted to wait until tomorrow to watch the rest of it, even though it was so good, that I didn't want to stop watching it, I did anyway, because I want to see what happens tomorrow. So that's all for now, and that's all I'm going to say about it, because it is an amazing show that I love, and now like watching, since I saw that it was on a Christian television station on our television yesterday. I didn't watch it on our television because, I wanted to watch it from the beginning and I did.

What have I been up to, what I am thankful for, why I always try not to give up on things, and what I like to do for fun.

Hi my name is Elizabeth Nicole Holthouse and I am twenty years old. I live in Celeryville Ohio and I love to write, read, draw, play piano, sing, and play games on my computer, phone, maybe a board game, or even a card game. Some of the things that I have been up to is, writing stories, reading my devotional book, painting and drawing on my computer, going to youth group on Wednesday and Sunday nights, doing my work out on the Wii, by doing Wii fit plus I can do my own work out, and create it, and after I am done, I can actually see how many calories that I have burned. I have skipped three days of my work out, and I have done three days of my work out. I haven't given up in my online class or with my work out, I keep trying in my class, and I do my work out on the Wii, every other day. So I guess you could say that my work out would be tomorrow, and then I would skip on Sunday, and well you get the idea. I love that I can do these things because they make me happy. I would like to volunteer at my high school that I graduated from, because it would be nice if I could help out. Who knows maybe I'll get to, but until then I am just going to continue with some of the things I do for fun, and with some of the things that I don't do for fun, like try hard to pass my online class, so that I can get my certificate, and continue doing my Wii fit plus work out, so that I can be strong, and get exercise from doing it. I'll continue to practice my piano so that I can do good, for the next time I have a lesson. I am thankful for my family, and friends, and to have a Savior who loves, cares, and watches over me, each and every single day and night. I am thankful for not giving up, on my piano lessons, for not giving up in my online class, or for not giving up on my Wii fit plus workout. I feel that if I had given up on my lessons for my class, or piano lessons, or had given up on my work out, then I would feel like I have failed, and stopped trying, and I don't want to do that. I want to continue to keep trying until I pass my online class, I want to keep practicing my piano until my next piano lesson, and I definitely want to keep on trying my best, whenever I do my work out.

My Trip From Being In Washington D.C. For A Rally For Medical Research

I went to a rally for medical research in Washington D.C. for Hydrocephalus and for other diseases that don't have cures. On Wednesday they talked about training and what was going to happen for the rally day kickoff on Thursday. Later that day on Wednesday we had a reception in the Kennedy Caucus Room which was very cool. I got to meet with a girl who had the same heart problem as me, and even got to see miss America. On Thursday I got to meet with some congressmen which was... really cool because I got to meet with David Joyce, I met with Brad Couts, Sherrod Brown, and others that couldn't make the meetings. Then on Friday we didn't have any more meetings so we got to relax, and on Saturday we went to dinner, with my aunt, and I got to meet two of her friends and got to see one of her friends that I had already met when I was in Washington D.C. for my 7th and 8th grade trip from a long time ago. Next on Sunday we had left Washington D.C. and drove to come home. Finally, we are home and I am glad to be back, so that I can share what it was like to be in D.C. with my family and friends. The End. Also I was glad that I got to do this, because before we left yesterday and got home, I met this adorable little boy named GianCarlo and I was very happy to know that my video I made for my senior year of high school has inspired so many kids, teens, and even families. I just hope that one day there might be a cure, because the only treatment for hydrocephalus is a shunt and that's it. September is Hydrocephalus Awareness Month and it matters to me because it doesn't have a cure yet.

When I was in Washington D.C. it was absolutely amazing to meet people, families, and even more amazing to know that my video has helped them and that some of the people from the hydrocephalus association are using it in training, and I was just very happy to know that families like the one that I had met on Sunday before coming home after having a good time meeting them in person, were glad to know that my video has helped them, and their adorable little boy. I think that being at the rally for medical research was a good experience for me and hydrocephalus matters and because September is hydrocephalus awareness month and this month matters. I hope that if there was a conference or something like this, that I would be able to go to either one or maybe even both. The End. I have hydrocephalus and it doesn't have a cure.

September is Hydrocephalus Awareness Month And It Matters To Me Because I have it and so many other kids, teenagers, and adults have it as well. Not only do so many people besides me have it, but there is not a cure for Hydrocephalus yet and the only treatment for it is having a shunt put in.

Myself and what I think

Hi my name is Elizabeth Nicole Holthouse I am 19 years old, and I live in Willard Ohio. I will be twenty in September and I was born on September 29th 1994. I love to write, read, swim, play piano, sing, be with family and friends. I like to go to youth group and learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. I want to be author so that I can share my stories with others and so that they can read them. I also like reading God's word and sharing scriptures with others because then it helps them learn more about God and who he is. I wouldn't leave where I live because it's one place where I can see kids I went to school with, it's a place where I can go to church and worship, it's even a place where I can visit my school that I graduated from in 2013. I would like to have one of my stories published because I think it would be really cool and awesome to know that I wrote something for others to read, and it would also make me feel really good too. I am kind, caring, loving, funny, happy, nice, sweet, and a good person to be around. I love my family, friends, but most importantly I love my Savior most of all. You see God loves everyone just like we love others, and he doesn't have favorites because he doesn't choose who he loves, because he already loves all of us so there isn't really a reason for him to choose who he loves, or cares about because cares for everyone too, just like we care about others. He forgives those who have made mistakes and we forgive those too who have made mistakes. We should love others for who they are. If someone doesn't know Jesus we should pray for them because then God will help them and because just praying for them is helping them out so that they can know Jesus Christ who died on the cross for their sins. I would like to share a bible verse with you, and that bible verse is John 3:16 and it says: For God So Loved The World That He Gave His One And Only Son That Whoever Believes In Him Shall Not Perish But Have Everlasting Life. That is a verse of scripture that should always be remembered because it is a great verse to read in the bible. Talking about faith with others and sharing our faith with others is something that can help them too because then they are learning about faith as well. If you know someone who doesn't go to church, then invite them to church with you so that they can learn more about our Savior and our savior is wonderful, awesome, loving and kind. So I hope you remember that our God is powerful, caring, and so great because he can do all things.

Things I like and love

I know I haven't written in a while, but now I am writing again. I have written so many stories that I think I have lost track of how many, but I know it's a lot. I have written songs, I haven't written one in awhile or recently but I have written them before. I play the piano on Friday afternoons because I have piano lessons at my church. Today, I don't have a lesson, and I won't until May 2nd. I like to read and I like to write. I like to sing and play the piano. I am still doing my homeschooling at home, and I probably should be getting back to doing that soon. I like doing yoga and I probably should be doing that again real soon. I love my family, and my friends. I love my savior. I am thankful for a lot of things in my life.  I love the church I go to. I like to speak spanish. I try to practice writing and saying things in spanish when I can. I am glad that I created a video that will help kids like me. I enjoy going to youth group on Sunday nights because I get to have fun and learn new things. I can't wait for my sister's wedding because I know it will be awesome and fun. I like playing games, and drawing pictures. I like to paint pictures on my computer because it is very fun. I am glad that there are different Christian movies in theaters and on DVD. The movie grace unplugged is an awesome movie just like the movie God's not dead, and so many others. I like to play my keyboard because it's cool. I like visiting my grandparents and my grandma. I don't know what else to write, so I am going to stop right here because I think that's all I can write for now, so I hope you enjoy what I have written and you'll just have to wait till I can figure out what to write more about.
