UnPlanned Movie Review

If I were to tell you that there were not any difficult scenes in this movie, then that would be untrue. I of course am not going to tell you that, because I want to tell you of a great movie that I watched last night with my parents. The movie is based on a true story of a lady named Abby Johnson. It's about her experience with Planned Parenthood and abortion. This movie is a Christian and Faith film, and even though the rating for it got a R rating, it's a movie that needs to be seen. There are some scenes that are hard to watch, which is where I had to look away at times, because it would be hard for me to see and to me it was sad to know that there are things like that where people at the place she worked at could do that to a child. I mean it is really heart breaking to know that some people think it might be the only option for them, but it isn't. I enjoyed that movie last night in different ways I can't even begin to tell you. There is a song by Matthew West called UnPlanned and that song is something you can hear at the end of the movie, or you can go to YouTube and look the song up, and listen to it there, or buy it on ITunes. If I were to rate this movie on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a ten. If I were to rate this movie from 1 star to 5 stars, I would give it 5 stars. Now you're probably asking yourself and thinking to yourself isn't she just giving the same rating? Why do it that way? Well, the reason I did it this way, is because I wanted some people to know despite the two different ratings I gave it, that's what I think the movie deserves because it was that good. It was really good, but does it mean I am ready to rewatch it right now? Well no, but whose to say I won't watch it again another time. I will, but until then I can always watch something else. UnPlanned is a movie that people need to see not only because of the person's story being told, but they need to see it because of how and what is happening in our world right now. When I heard and watched the movie last night and heard them tell how many abortions they had helped with, I was surprised but also sad because for the number they said, is totally and well heartbreaking that there could be that many abortions. I'm not writing this review in a way where I'm trying to change your mind or opinion, but this movie was so good, that I know what is wrong and what's wrong is that the people who tried to make it seem what they were doing was right, wasn't and for that being said, I know that what is right is to help save babies lives, so that they can live and grow. It's so that they can also grow and be able to know that somebody helped them live without feeling like they were some sort of child that no one wanted. When I say that, I am saying it because of the lyrics of the song UnPlanned by Matthew West. The lyric that says: Broken turns to beautiful I see you right before my eyes And every single breath you breathe Is destiny love has brought to life I thought it was my story's end But now the future's all I see
Instead of asking who you might've been I'm wondering who you're gonna be. When I read that line, it reminds me of how we need to help those who might be thinking of the other option, so that we can help them come to the right option, which is saving their child, so that they can raise them when they're born. I hope this review helps you decide whether or not to see the movie, but if you do I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I watched it with my parents, because it's an excellent movie that needs to be watched, and it's a great movie because it tells the story of who I've mentioned in the beginning. I didn't want to say too much about the movie, only because if I did, then there wouldn't be a need to watch it. If you as a parent watch it, then maybe watch it first before you decide if the movie is something you would want your child to watch. I can't decide that for you, but I hope to watch it again some other day, just not now. I do hope that this review will be helpful to you and that you'll like what I write the next time I make a post. It could be another review or it could be about totally something different.
